Finally visited the super popular Grounds of Alexandria.

My first impression was that the setting of this place is amazing! (& it's huge!)

The grounds is undeniably one of the most unique cafe to go in Sydney.

The thing about the grounds is that it's not just the cafe that's there.

While waiting (yes, there will always be a long wait),

You can stroll around the place to see some animals if you like,

Or even try out the numerous range of desserts that they have to offer.

The 'Ground' Burger

Ground beef brisket w/ cheese, lettuce, dill cornichon mayo on a toasted brioche bun served with beer battered fries ($19)

I tried their 'ground' burger, and it tasted pretty ordinary to me.

Their mayo sauce is pretty good, but that's about it.

I've had a nibble here and there from my friend's plate.

They ordered the lamb and the smashed avocado.

I felt that those dishes are much better executed than their burger.

(A little rant/warning)

It's a pain in the arse to find parking if you're planning to drive there.
